Patrice Thornton joined PTC in 2017 and has recently been appointed Senior Vice President, Human Resources.

With nearly 30 years of experience spanning multiple industries, including more than 20 years in life sciences, Patrice brings deep expertise in building high-performing HR functions that support business growth and organizational transformation.

Based in Ireland, Patrice is known for her pragmatic, people-first approach to leadership and her commitment to creating workplaces where people can do their best work.

Over the course of her career, she has led HR across complex, matrixed environments, partnering closely with senior leaders to align people strategy with business priorities. Her experience spans talent management, organizational design, culture, and workforce planning – with a particular focus on scaling HR capabilities during periods of significant change.

Patrice brings a grounded, direct style to her work – combining commercial acumen with a genuine belief that sustainable business performance is built on the strength of its people. She is passionate about intentional leadership and building HR functions that are both strategically relevant and operationally excellent.
