Michael Kranda has been a member of PTC's board of directors since December 2003. Since September 2003, Mr. Kranda has been director of biotechnology venture investments at Vulcan Capital, the private investment group of Vulcan, Inc. From July 1996 to July 2002, Mr. Kranda served as chief executive officer at Oxford GlycoSciences, a biotechnology company. Prior to joining Oxford GlycoSciences, Mr. Kranda was President and Chief Operating Officer at Immunex Corporation (now Amgen), a biopharmaceutical company. Mr. Kranda also serves on the board of Cumbre Pharmaceuticals, BiPar Sciences, Nura, Inc., Raven Biotechnologies and the Washington State Biotechnology Business Association. Mr. Kranda received his B.A. and M.B.A from University of Washington School of Business.
