Cláudia Hirawat is responsible for Business and Corporate Development spearheading PTC’s collaborations. Ms. Hirawat joined PTC in 2000 as the company's seventh employee. Partnering with the CEO and the senior management team, Ms. Hirawat played a key role in building PTC and was directly involved in fundraising, operational directives, public and investor relations, patient and professional advocacy and commercial development. Prior to PTC, Ms. Hirawat was a Vice President at LedbetterStevens, a management consulting and senior-level retained search firm in New York focused exclusively in the biopharmaceutical area. Ms. Hirawat was at LedbetterStevens for five years and had responsibilities for projects for a variety of clients including: Pfizer, Pharmacia, Bristol Myers Squibb Co., Celera Genomics, Coelacanth Corp., SpotFire, IBM Consulting/The Wilkerson Group and The Boston Consulting Group.
